Howto enable Keyboard Viewer in OSX

September 6th, 2007 at 22:28

Missing some keys ? Still on the search for 2nd function of keys ?

Apple offers an easy solution called: Keyboard Viewer

My quick description howto enable it:

  • Open System Preferences
  • Goto International
  • Goto Input Menu
  • Select “Keyboard Viewer”
  • Select “Show input menu in menu bar”

done.

If you want to access Keyboard viewer from now on, just select the “Input Menu” displayed as a country flag in your menu bar and press “Open Keyboard viewer”

It should look like that:

Basicly thats everything you need

Enjoy it
